Today in salle 6:
- We had les 5 au quotidien, while the students are doing centres I have been pulling them one on one to read with them.
- We wrote letters to other staff and teachers in the school, this is part of our December virtue of bucket filling.
- In math we worked on subtraction and played a similar dice game to yesterday. Students are using 100 charts as well as blocks as we start to explore this, we are also continuing to work on recognizing even and odd numbers.
- In social studies we learned what tourism is and then we wrote and drew about tourism in Saskatoon.
- In science we looked a different types of magnets and the four types of metals that they will stick too. I could not believe how much the students of Salle 6 already knew about magnets!
- In gym we played penguin tag and dodgeball.
